Practice yoga once a week and it will change your mind, practice twice a week and it will change your body, practice every day and it will change your life.
Torrens Community Yoga makes yoga safe and accessible for everyone in the community. Increase mobility, reduce stress and build strength through yoga postures, and increase mindfulness through breath work and meditation.
I discovered yoga in the early 1990’s and over the years it has provided me with a framework for life, which has kept me healthy and sane. I trained as a teacher in the Vinyasa Flow tradition under Heather Agnew of Yoga Trinity.
As a busy mum, I know it’s important we take care of ourselves, but also know it can be hard to find the time. I have qualifications in nutritional therapy and workplace coaching and can help you focus on your health, wellbeing and personal goals.
I offer a safe space to practice and unwind, and design classes to support health and wellbeing that are accessible to every body. Through the regular practice of gentle movement, quiet reflection and breath work, students build strength, flexibility and balance – both on and off the mat.
Hi! I’m Georgie and I’m a certified yoga teacher in Vinyasa Flows, trained through Yoga Trinity. Growing up with a household influenced by yoga, my practice began at a young age, which ultimately lead to me training as a teacher when I was in year 11. I found that my practice improved my school results hugely and really changed my outlook on life, which naturally made me want to share what I had found and begin my yoga teaching journey.
As a student in my class, you are given the freedom to play, explore and express yourself in a way that rings true to your soul. It is my intention to assist you in finding a smile and a little bit of joy in your busy, daily life. You can expect a few giggles throughout a gorgeous practice of reconnecting with the breath and body.
Sue is an amazing teacher - we are so thrilled she is part of our wonderful community.
